PICTURE DAYS

FRIDAY MAY 31st / SATURDAY JUNE 1st / SUNDAY JUNE 2nd

  • Pictures are optional - however, if you are not planning on ordering pictures, we would still love to have everyone in the group shots for our Annual TDC Book.

  • Order forms and package prices will be available at the studio May 12th. Amy Wellenkamp Photographers will be doing our pictures again this year

DRESS REHEARSAL 

(details will be sent out early May)

FRIDAY, JUNE 14th

(Location: The Little Theatre at KHS)

 

  • Dress rehearsal is mandatory

  • Plan to be at the theatre 15 minutes prior to your rehearsal time dressed and ready to dance!  (we may run ahead of schedule…please don’t be late, we might go on without you).

  • You will need to be in full make-up, hair and costume on both dress rehearsal and recital day.

  • There will be bathrooms available for changing at dress rehearsal, and changing tents/rooms for our elite team girls who have several changes.

 

RECITAL DAY

FRIDAY, JUNE 15th

(Location: The Little Theatre at KHS)

  • There will be six mini recital shows (50-70 minutes), each with a different line-up.

  • Exact show line-up will be sent out early-May (each class will only perform once). 

  • Dancers will meet in the dressing room (the new gym at KHS, signs will direct you) 15 minutes prior to the show start time, DRESSED AND READY TO DANCE.

  • After the dancers perform, staff will take them back to the dressing room until the end of the show. They will be brought back on stage for the finale.

  • All dancers must be picked up at the backstage door AFTER THE FINALE.

  • FOOD: Jimenez Taco Shop & Blondie Shaved Ice are scheduled to be on site all day!

There will be a smaller quantity available at the theatre,

so pre-ordering is recommended!

*Personal filming / photography (no flash) during dances

is allowed during dress rehearsal but NOT during recital.

                             

ACCOUNT BALANCES

All past due tuition, late fees, recital fees, costumes or any other balances must be paid by Monday, June 10th!

  • ANY STUDENT WITH AN ACCOUNT LEFT OUTSTANDING WILL RESULT IN THAT STUDENT NOT PARTICIPATING IN RECITAL!

2024 RECITAL TICKET INFORMATION

IMPORTANT TICKET DETAILS:

  • AT THE DOOR: Some shows will sell out and will not have tickets for sale at the door. During the week of the show, please check our social media or email the studio thedancecompany@att.net for current ticket status.

  • Dancers will not need a ticket to the show they are dancing in (they will remain in the dressing room for the entire show and are not allowed to sit in the audience) A comp ticket will be provided for any siblings for any siblings show that they do not perform in.

  • Children ages 3 and up will need a ticket - however, due to limited seats, children under the ages of 3 will need to sit on a lap and not in a seat. 

  • If you have purchased tickets for back-to-back shows, you will not need to leave the theatre - we will first ask the people that do NOT have tickets to quickly exit, then we will collect the next show tickets from the remaining house. If you purchased tickets for shows which are not back to back, you must exit the theatre and re-enter at show time. Please prepare your friends and family for this.

GETTING YOUR TICKETS

  • By MAY 15th - Your 5 comp tickets PER FAMILY (included w/recital fees) will be released for pick-up

  • All extra tickets that have been reserved can be paid for at this time (and will only be held until May 25th) 

  • Accounts that are NOT current will not be able to purchase any extra tickets above the 5

  • MAY 30th – All tickets that have not been paid will go on sale to the public at 3pm

TICKET PRICES

 

All tickets are $10 per person, per show.
